Erik Britton

Erik Britton joined Fathom as a director in October 2007. He has 18 years of experience as a professional economist, and he has a strong practical grasp of the tools of economic analysis and how to bring them to bear on policy issues in both the private and the public sectors.

Between 2000 and 2007, Erik was a director at Oxford Economics, where he was responsible for leading and delivering major consultancy projects for clients in blue-chip industrial firms, financial services and government, in the UK, Europe and the United States. Previously, he was involved in economic modelling and forecasting, first at a London-based consultancy called MMD, and then at the Bank of England. At the Bank of England, Erik spent five years in the Monetary Analysis Division where he ran the Bank's UK macroeconomic model, co-ordinated its international forecast, and also managed a team of economists responsible for analysing the economics of the corporate sector.

Danny Gabay

Danny coordinates Fathom Financial Consulting’s research effort. Before joining Fathom, Danny was UK and European economist at JP Morgan. He joined JP Morgan from the Bank of England, where he was one of the authors of the Bank's Inflation Report.

Prior to joining the Bank of England, Danny was a Government Economic Adviser. He worked on capital projects in the NHS, and later ran a macroeconomic briefing unit at the Department of Trade and Industry, which involved writing and coordinating economic speeches for Michael Heseltine and other Government Ministers.
