Monetary policy and asset prices 

This course could not be more in line with the latest financial events as it explores the key issue confronting central bankers today - how to deal with asset prices? It is aimed at existing market participants. 

Introduction to market economics 

As well as providing particpants with a basic grounding in the key economic relationships they need to know, participants will be given the opportunity to put thier knowledge to the test, by assuming the role of an inflation-targeting central bank and playing Fathom's "Be your own MPC Game"^TM.

Asset allocation game

Based on the Directors’ experience of asset allocation Fathom has developed a computer-based model of the global economy and financial markets, The Tactical Asset Allocation Game^TM. Participants are given a notional portfolio of £100m to manage and must select the asset classes that they believe will best meet their client’s risk and return objectives.
