Joanna Davies
Chief Commercial Officer
Joanna is Chief Commercial Officer and Partner at Fathom Consulting, a UK-based economic consultancy. She helps steer the firm’s commercial strategy, overseeing client relationships, pricing, contracts, and project delivery. She plays a central role in shaping Fathom’s direction, developing new marketing initiatives and overseeing consultancy projects.
Since joining Fathom in 2015, Joanna has spearheaded projects for public-sector clients — particularly US government departments — and has helped position Fathom as a key provider of China-related economic analysis and policy insight. Her work spans global investment, trade, economic interdependence and geopolitical risk, with a particular emphasis on China’s role in the world economy.
Joanna was previously Fathom’s Lead China Economist & Head of Government Services. While in this position, she managed major consultancy projects related to China, was responsible for Fathom’s China coverage, and oversaw the relationship with government clients. During this time, she also created and contributed to a wide range of proprietary indicators and analytical tools.
