Laura Eaton
Chief Operating Officer
Laura Eaton is the Chief Operating Officer at Fathom, where she oversees operational strategy and delivery across the firm’s economic research and data science teams. In this role, she drives business development and directs major consultancy engagements, providing macroeconomic insights to clients across government, defence, and financial services.
During her tenure at Fathom, Laura previously led the firm’s China research. In this capacity, she directed the development and deployment of core proprietary analysis tools, including the Capital Flows Tracker and the RiCArdo dataset.
Laura first joined Fathom as a placement student in 2011, later returning as an economist after completing a first-class honours degree in Economics from the University of Surrey. Over more than a decade with the company, she has progressed through key analytical and research leadership roles into senior management.
